La Selección Colombia Sub-20 aseguró su cupo en el Mundial de la categoría

Con anotaciones de Óscar Perea, Neyser Villarreal y Royner Benítez, la ‘Tricolor’ logró una victoria clave que le permite enfocarse en la cita mundialista.

A pesar de que el equipo dirigido por César Torres ya no tiene posibilidades de ganar el Sudamericano, su rendimiento ha sido destacado, generando grandes expectativas sobre su desempeño en el torneo internacional.

El Mundial Sub-20 se disputará en Chile del 27 de septiembre al 19 de octubre de 2025. La final se llevará a cabo en el Estadio Nacional de Santiago, y el torneo contará con la participación de 24 selecciones de todo el mundo.

Hasta el momento, las selecciones de Brasil, Argentina, Colombia y Chile ya tienen su boleto asegurado, mientras que los demás clasificados se definirán en los torneos de las diferentes confederaciones.

El formato del torneo incluye seis grupos de cuatro equipos cada uno, avanzando a la siguiente fase los dos mejores de cada grupo junto a los cuatro mejores terceros.

Con la clasificación asegurada, el combinado nacional ahora podrá enfocarse en su preparación para representar al país en uno de los torneos juveniles más importantes del mundo.
