El Gobierno Nacional reafirma apoyo a proyectos de transporte claves en Cundinamarca

La ministra de Transporte, María Fernanda Rojas, y el gobernador Jorge Emilio Rey ratificaron el compromiso con el Tren de Zipaquirá, el Regiotram de Occidente y el Cable Aéreo de Soacha.

En esta reunión se abordaron temas como:

El Regiotram del Norte (Tren de Zipaquirá)

Este proyecto conectará Bogotá con Chía, Cajicá y Zipaquirá, reduciendo los tiempos de desplazamiento y descongestionando el tráfico en la región.

Actualmente, se encuentra en fase de estudios y diseños a nivel de factibilidad, los cuales serán evaluados por el Ministerio de Transporte para obtener viabilidad técnica y avanzar en un convenio de cofinanciación.

Regiotram de Occidente

Considerado el primer tren de cercanías del país, este sistema férreo reducirá hasta en un 50% los tiempos de desplazamiento y ayudará a descongestionar la Calle 13. Actualmente, el proyecto se encuentra en ejecución, y se ha solicitado al Ministerio de Transporte su apoyo en la gestión de permisos y autorizaciones ante el Ministerio de Cultura y Cenit, con el fin de iniciar las obras en el corredor férreo central.

Cable Aéreo de Soacha

Este sistema de transporte sostenible y eléctrico mejorará la movilidad en zonas de difícil acceso y se integrará con TransMilenio, beneficiando a miles de ciudadanos.

El proyecto está siendo estructurado por la Agencia Francesa de Desarrollo y se espera que a finales de este año concluya el proceso, para ser radicado ante el Ministerio de Transporte y dar paso a su viabilidad.

Como gesto de respaldo a estos proyectos, el gobernador Jorge Emilio Rey obsequió a la ministra un pin del Regiotram de Occidente, reafirmando el compromiso conjunto por fortalecer la movilidad en Cundinamarca.
